695 public toilets with a shower on site are recorded in New South Wales, out of 1,931 nationally. That is more than any other state or territory — Queensland is next with 377. They sit in 448 named towns.

The heaviest concentrations are around Cronulla (13), Coffs Harbour (9) and Mosman (8). Those 3 account for 30 of the 695; a further 311 towns record exactly one.

Among them are Wombarra Rock Pool on Reef Avenue, Waratah Park Basketball Stadium, Grassy Head Caravan Park and Cook Park Grand Parade. Around Cronulla the listings run to Darook Park, North Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club and Wanda Surf Life Saving Club.
