Public toilets on Australia’s major highways, by route

1,143 public toilets are recorded on or beside 28 of Australia’s named highways. Each corridor below has its own page listing every mapped stop in route order — which are open 24 hours, which are wheelchair accessible, which have a shower, and how far apart they sit. The busiest is the Princes Highway, with 206 stops.

A corridor earns a page once at least ten mapped toilets carry its name in the National Public Toilet Map, so the routes above are the ones with enough recorded stops to be useful. Counts are read from our own copy of that dataset.
